'The Beach House' ~ Coastal retreat

This was a full design project to transform the original 1980's beach home into a modern day, coastal style holiday home. Our client brief was to make it feel like a relaxed holiday home inspired by the surroundings of the beach, with added colour woven throughout the finishings.

This project involved complete design & execution of the home inside & out - 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, kitchen, dining, 2 bathrooms, games room, laundry. 
All of the finishings including furniture & custom pieces throughout the home were chosen selections we made in this design project. 
The renovation was a full year in the making and we worked remotely to project manage the execution of the design with the builder. 

The transformation was spectacular and our clients absolutely love their holiday home!

Our clients gave us their very brief vision for their new home and gave us the space to dream up and create a design for them. Located close to the beach, we made the coastal elements the foundation of the home by using warm tones & natural materials throughout. Adding black accents + luxe finishes like marble to the scheme gave it the modern element to the coastal home we envisioned.

Hilltop Project ~ Japanese infused NZ Barn

This was a Full Design package where we worked alongside our clients to bring their vision of a 'Japanese infused New Zealand barn' to life. Our clients had a clear vision, using the milled Japanese cedar they had burnt & oiled themselves off their farm to be the main featured of their home, inside and out.  The architecture of the home was our inspiration we drew from, bringing in rich earthy tones and natural materials throughout the finishing selections.

The brief for this show home was to inject personality + to be a stand out from the 'traditional show home' crowd. Our vision was to push the boat out + add colour + texture throughout the home. Using rich warm tones as our foundation we then added softer layers throughout the selections & finishings.
